2002 Election

In February, 2002, South Australia held a state election for our parliament.  I was a candidate for the Legislative Council.  The result of that election was a very close finish between the Labor and Liberal parties, with it hanging in the balance until all the votes were counted, and an influential independent member (Peter Lewis) finally decided to put his weight behind the Labor Party.

Thankyou to the (approx) 450 voters that supported me, but unfortunately it wasn't quite enough votes to get elected.  If you're interested in details of the election results, you can visit the Australian Electoral Commission or South Australian State Electoral Office websites.
