Voting preferences

I've answered a few queries about my preferences, so I'll write the same reply that I've been telling people, here:

“Officially, I haven't lodged any preferences.  The independents weren't obliged to.  So voting for me doesn't vote for someone else.

“I haven't seen our local candidates for the parties put forward any official policies, only vague promises, which they probably won't keep.  And, for that reason, I can't say that I lean towards supporting either party.

“As an independent, I don't have to.  I can support or oppose any party policies that my electorate asks me to.”

I'm standing for a seat in the district of Enfield.  There are only five candidates on the ticket, please exercise your democratic right to place the numbers 1 to 5 in the boxes next to the candidates names, in the order of your own preferences.  Remember to correctly number all the boxes, or your vote will be invalid.  And you can ask the officials at the polling station for any assistance that you might need.
